  • Don’t go to bed after eating. The rule is you should never eat three hours before going to bed. So, eat your dinner early if you’re planning to sleep earlier than your usual bed time.
  • Chew your food. Don’t eat fast. Try taking smaller bites. After every bite, place down your utensils. And always eat with people or another person. The conversation will slow down your eating. Moreover, this is one way of maintaining your weight- eating slowly. It takes time for the brain to send signals that you’re already full. If you’re eating fast, it may be too late to realize that you’re already full.
  • Avoid pairing alcohol with spicy foods. This increases the amount of acid produced in your stomach.

Just know your limits when you eat. The heartburns cannot simply offset the health benefits of spicy foods. Just know your limits, and you’re good to go.
